Customer admin · Store admin · Store viewer

Stores in the sidebar opens the store page. It shows one store at a time; the list on the left switches between the stores you have access to.

  • Search by store name or city.
  • Region chips filter by province where the store has one.
  • A closed store is dimmed. A small offline icon means the store has at least one device that is not sending data.
  • On a phone the list slides in from the left.
  • Type badge: Retail, Pop-up, Flagship, or Demo for sample stores.
  • Status badge: Open, Closed, Opening Soon (within 30 minutes of opening) or Closing Soon (within 30 minutes of closing). Status comes from the store’s operating hours in the store’s time zone. A store with no hours set always shows Closed.
  • Weather for the store, shown on the Today view.
  • Live · updated with a pulse while the store is trading, or “Store is currently closed”. For past periods the header shows the date range instead.
  • Refresh reloads the page’s data.

Today, Yesterday, 7 Days or 30 Days. Today is the default. The period drives every chart below. All periods are calculated in the store’s own time zone; 7 Days and 30 Days are whole calendar days ending today. See Time and data freshness.

The three cards at the top change with the period.

Card What it shows
In Store Now Live occupancy: people estimated inside right now and the share of the store’s maximum capacity. A store with capacity 0 shows 0%.
Footfall Today Visitors since the store opened today, with a running sparkline.
Pace vs Yesterday Today’s visitors from opening until now, against the same hours yesterday. The current hour is scaled by how much of it has passed. “N/A” means yesterday was closed or had no visitors.

Choosing the In Store Now card opens Set live count. Only Bon staff can apply it; other roles see an error if they try.

Total footfall; the peak hour with the hourly average; and the change against the weekly average (the seven days ending yesterday, divided by seven).

Total footfall; the peak day with the daily average; and the change against the prior period, measured against the store’s 30-day daily baseline.

Entrances over time.

  • Today and Yesterday: choose 10 min or Hourly (hourly by default). The previous day is overlaid as dots for comparison and the current hour is highlighted. The chart is clipped to the store’s operating hours.
  • 7 Days and 30 Days: one bar per day with a dashed 30-day baseline.
  • Export downloads the data as CSV or Excel.

Distinct visitors seen in each camera zone over the period.

  • Granularity: 10 min (single day only), Hourly (up to 7 days) or Daily.
  • Filter by zone type and pick which zones to chart. Top N selects the busiest zones.
  • Because each bucket counts distinct people, buckets do not add up to a total, and a coarser granularity shows smaller numbers (the same person is counted once per hour instead of once per 10 minutes).
  • A gap in the data is drawn as zero.
  • Zone footfall is not comparable with the entrance Footfall chart above. They measure different things.
  • “This store has no camera zones configured” means the store’s devices only count the entrance.

The running occupancy across one day: it starts at zero at midnight, goes up by one for each entry and down by one for each exit. On the 7 Days and 30 Days views, pick the day to chart. The subtitle shows the day’s peak. Export to CSV or Excel.

The age and gender split of visitors in the period. Age bands are Child (under 13), Teen (13 to 19), Young Adult (20 to 35), Adult (36 to 55), Senior (56 and over) and Unknown.

Top Zone Transitions lists the five most common journeys from one zone to another. Trips straight from entry to exit and loops inside one zone are left out.

Zone Transition Flow shows the same data as a chord diagram or a matrix. Pick zones, filter by age or gender, and choose a zone to see where visitors went next.

Zones drawn over the camera’s reference image, colored by Visitors (share of unique visitors who entered each zone) or Dwell time (average time spent in each zone). Filter by age or gender and expand the view for a larger image. Raw counts are not shown on the heatmap.

“No data to display” means nothing was recorded for the period. Common causes are a store that was closed, a device that was offline, or a store that is still being set up. If you think the store was trading, check the Devices page and contact info@bonintel.com.
